Alameta M. Bergamon

Alameta M. Bergamon, 98, formerly of Salamanca, NY died Sunday morning, November 6, 2022 at Absolut Care of Allegany following a brief illness.

Born October 26, 1924 in Salamanca, NY, she was the daughter of the late Themistocles and Mary Nolan Siafakas. She was married October 24, 1959 to Max Bergamon, who predeceased her on July 10, 1987.

She had been employed at J-Con Parks Concession in Allegany State Park, the former Pyramid Drive-Inn, the former Collingwood Concrete, the former Ludwig Oil, the former Fitzgerald Department Store, and the former Royal Restaurant, all of Salamanca.

Mrs. Bergamon was a member of Our Lady of Peace Parish.

Surviving are: a stepdaughter, Shirley (Donald) Ball, Canandaigua, NY; two grandchildren, Patrick (Julie) Ball, Rochester, NY and Megan Ball, Canandaigua, NY; a great-granddaughter, Ariel; two brothers, Thomas Siafakas, Richard Siafakas, both of Kill Buck, NY; several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by two brothers, George Siafakas and John Siafakas, one sister, Jennie (Ralph) Schine, and a stepson, Michael Bergamon.

There will be no visitation.

A Memorial Mass will be held at Our Lady of Peace Parish, 274 Broad Street, Salamanca, NY on Wednesday, November 16, 2022 at 11 a.m.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the O'Rourke & O'Rourke Inc. Funeral Home, 25 River Street, Salamanca, NY.
