Benjamin J. Cavana

Benjamin J. Cavana, 73, of Salamanca, NY died Thursday, April 28, 2022 at home.

Born March 21, 1949 in Buffalo, NY, he was the son of the late Joseph and Ann Bunarek Cavana.

Ben was a life-long resident of Salamanca and graduated Salamanca High School, Class of 1969.

He had been employed with the City of Salamanca for over 10 years.

Ben was always interested in the lives of his many family members and friends. He was an avid Boston Red Sox and Oakland Raiders fan and enjoyed joking if your team lost. He was much loved by his family and will be remembered for his many sayings.

Surviving are: three brothers, Joseph Cavana Jr., San Diego, CA, John Cavana, Erie, PA, Peter (Linda) Cavana, Olean, NY; several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by a sister, Barbara Cavana.

Per his wishes, there will be no visitation.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the convenience of the family and will be announced.
