Bruno A. Quattrone .

Bruno A. Quattrone, 93, of 27 Baker Street, Salamanca, New York, died Friday (February 29,2008) at the Olean General Hospital, Olean, New York.

Born August 31, 1914 in Salamanca, New York he was the son of the late Diego and Annuziata Macheda Quattrone. Hw was married on June 9, 1962 to the former Rosetta Gurnot who survives.

Mr. Quattrone founded BAQ Amusement in Salamanca which he ran for forty-five years prior to his retirement.

He was a member of Elkdale Country Club, where he had served as past president and was on the board of directors, participated i the Thursday night golf league, Holy Cross Athletic Club, S.C.O.U.T., a social member of the American Legion Hughes-Skiba Post #535, Salamanca Chapter #844 AARP,participated in the American Legion Pool League, and enjoyed his vegetable garden.

Surviving besides his wife are two daughters Nancy (Tony) Orsini,Yorkshire, New York, Debby (Kermit) Moore, Great Valley, New York, one son David (Judy) Quattrone, Corning, New York, six grandchildren, Bruno (Melanie) Quattrone, Tampa Fl, Bernadette Quattrone, NYC, Patricia (Bryan) Nilsen, NYC, Fred Quattrone, Olean, New York, Matt Quattrone, Salamanca, New York Brandon Quattrone, Kent State University; 2 great grandchildren, Tanner Quattrone and Camille Quattrone both of Tampa, Fl; 1 sister, Madeline Cricks, Rochester, New York.

He was predeceased by a son, Frederick Quattrone; 4 brothers, Frank Quattrone, Phillip Quattrone, Joseph Quattrone; 3 sisters, Mary Quattrone, Catherine Caruso, and Margaret Mongillo.

Friends may call at on Sunday (March 2, 2008) from 2 -4 & 7 -9 P.M. at the O'Roruke & O'Rourke Inc. Funeral Home, 25 River Street, Salamanca, New York where funeral and committal services will be held on Monday (March 4, 2008) at 10:00 A.M. with Deacon Mike Anderson, of Our Lady of Peace officiating.

Burial will be in Crawford Cemetery, Salamanca, New York.
