Charles Emborski

Mr. Charles Emborsk "Charlie", age 57, of Upper State Park Avenue, Salamanca, New York died early Monday morning (March 3, 2008) at the Olean General Hospital, Olean, New York following a brief battle with cancer.

Born on July 4, 1950 in Salamanca, New York he was the son of the late Robert and Norma McMullen Emborski. He was married on September 14, 1985 in Red House, New York to the former Mariann Skoken who survives.

Mr. Emborski was employed by the Dudley Hotel and Western Door Enterprises for 19 years.

He enjoyed fishing, camping and woodworking.

Surviving besides his wife are: 2 sons, Bryan Emborski, Cory Emborski, both of 3384 Upper State Park Avenue, Salamanca, New York; 5 brothers, Robert (Sheila) Emborski, Brewerton, New York, Daniel (Theresa) Emborski, Virginia Beach, Va., William (Michelle) Emborski, Colorado Springs, Colorado, Gerry (Jacque) Emborski, Randolph, New York, John (Deanna) Emborski, Panama City Beach, Florida; 2 sisters, Laura (David) Tuxill, Nedrow, New York, Helen (Harry) Button, Olean, New York; several nieces and nephews.

Friends may call at the O'Rourke & O'Rourke Inc. Funeral Home, 25 River Street, Salamanca, New York on Thursday from 4-7 P.M.

A prayer service will be held in the funeral home on Friday morning at 11:30 A.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 12:00 P.M. noon in Our Lady of Peace Church (St. Patrick's) with Rev. Patrick O'Keefe, pastor of St. Patrick's Church, Randolph, New York as celebrant.

Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery

The family suggests memorials to St. Jude's Hospital, 501 St. Jude's Place, Memphis, Tenn. 38105.
