Christopher R. Drugg

Christopher R. Drugg, 38, of Salamanca, NY died Thursday evening, April 29, 2021 at home.

Born September 16, 1982 in Olean, NY he was the son of Kenneth and Judy Williams Drugg of Salamanca.

Christopher was a graduate of Salamanca High School, Class of 2000, playing varsity football and lacrosse. Chris was an all-star football player for the Salamanca Warriors and had set several school records and accomplishments such as Super 7, Big 30, among other achievements. He will always be remembered as a Warrior. He was also a graduate of the BOCES welding program.

Chris enjoyed spending time with his family. He was an avid Atlanta Falcons fan and lover of football and all sports. He dedicated his time to coaching and volunteering for youth sports teams. He had an array of friends from all walks of life and was always willing to lend a hand when needed. He enjoyed music and playing the drums and guitar for several bands. Chris was a skilled construction worker and a plumber by trade and had successfully started his own business, CRD Plumbing. He loved the outdoors, fishing, and snowboarding. He will be remembered for his love of animals as well as his coaching SYA Football and Basketball. He loved his family, but his true passion was his children, Alleyana and Axel.

Surviving besides his parents are: Abigail John and their two children, Alleyana Abrams and Axel Drugg of Salamanca, NY; two sisters, Shari Carney, Salamanca, NY, Debbie Watson, Limestone, NY; several aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews, including a special aunt, April Vecchiarella, Salamanca, NY, and uncle, Danny Williams, Humphrey, NY.

There will be no visitation.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the American Legion, 67 Wildwood Avenue, Salamanca, NY, Saturday, May 22, 2021 at 1 pm.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the O’Rourke & O’Rourke Inc. Funeral Home, 25 River Street, Salamanca, NY.
