David "Dee" Pierce

David “Dee” Nate Pierce Sr., 53, of Baltimore, MD died Monday, August 6, 2018 at his home.

Born September 26, 1964 in Olean NY, he was the son of Muriel “Mae” Pierce, Kill Buck, NY and the late Nate Pierce, Kill Buck, NY. He was married on October 28th, 1995 to loving wife Karleen Pierce, Baltimore MD who survives.

He was an enrolled member of the Seneca Nation of Indians and the Wolf Clan.

He was a graduate of Salamanca High School, Class of 1982, where he played varsity football and lacrosse.

David was an Iron Worker for over 25 years and a member of the Iron Workers Union Local 16 in Baltimore.

He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.

Surviving besides his wife: he was a devoted father of three sons and daughter in laws, Shaun (Amanda) Pierce, David (Pierce) Pierce Jr., Gait (Sierra) Pierce; a sister, Sue Pierce; a sister in law, Deanna Morin; parent in laws, Theresa Triolo and Donald Chester; five nieces and nephews, Drew Stevens, Lani Stevens, Charles Shears Jr., Kristin Newman, Stephanie McCauley; several other loving relatives and friends.

Friends may call at the Connelly Funeral Home of Essex, 300 Mace Avenue, Baltimore, MD on Wednesday, August 8, 2018 from 3 – 5 and 7 – 8 p.m., at which time a funeral service will be held.

Friends may also call at the O’Rourke & O’Rourke Inc Funeral Home, 25 River Street, Salamanca, NY on Saturday, August 11, 2018 from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m., at which time a funeral service will be held.

Burial will be in Horseshoe Cemetery, Carrollton, NY.
