John Yusko

Mr. John Yusko, age 57, of Eagle Street, Salamanca, New York died early Tuesday morning, August 12, 2014 at The Absolut of Salamanca.

Born on April 22, 1957 in Olean, New York, he was the son of Leon and Sabina Kubiak Yusko.

He was a veteran of the United States Navy.

Mr. Yusko had been employed as a hairdresser working at various hair salons in New York City, Catskills, New York, and Olean, New York.

Surviving are: a son, John (Teena) Yusko, Florida; a daughter, Amber Whitaker, Florida; a granddaughter, Cierra Yusko, Florida; a brother, Michael P. Yusko; several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his life partner, Tim O’Neil.

There will be no visitation.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the O’Rourke & O’Rourke Inc. Funeral Home, 25 River Street, Salamanca, New York.
