Lawrence F. Weishan

Lawrence F. Weishan, 67, of Salamanca, NY, died suddenly Wednesday, August 2, 2023 at home.

Born August 1, 1956 in Salamanca, NY, he was the son of the late Leonard C. and Patricia A. Ranney Weishan.

He was a graduate of Ellicottville High School, Class of 1975 and served in the United States Navy.

Lawrence had been in the construction industry for over 30 years working in various projects in Western New York and had recently retired as a property maintenance manager in Salamanca, NY.

He enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, fishing, and cooking. He was a faithful Buffalo Bills fan.

Surviving are: a daughter, Crystal McLarney, Salamanca, NY; a son, Chad Weishan, Buffalo, NY; two sisters, Debra (David) Garland, Conroe, TX, Diana (George) Dorgan, Rochester, NY; several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by a sister, Theresa M. Austin and a brother, Leonard W. Weishan.

A Memorial Mass will be held at Holy Name of Mary RC Church, 22 Jefferson Street, Ellicottville, NY on Thursday, August 31, 2023 at 10am with Rev. Dennis Mancuso officiating.

Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Ellicottville, NY.

Full military honors will be conducted by members of the Ellicottville American Legion Post 659.
