Mildred C. Quattrone

Mildred C. Quattrone, 93, of Linden Avenue, Salamanca, NY died early Thursday morning September 9, 2021 following a long illness.

Born July 11, 1928 in Ellington, NY she was the daughter of the late Glenn and Mildred Pangborn Storey.

Mrs. Quattrone had been employed as a retail salesclerk with the former Farm and Fleet and former McCrory’s stores, Salamanca, NY.

She was a member of Our Lady of Peace RC Church and the American Hughes-Skiba Post 535 Ladies’ Auxiliary. She enjoyed being around her family, especially her grand and great-grandchildren. She also enjoyed watching her reality shows as well as watching birds and local wildlife from her yard, word searches and crossword puzzles.

Surviving are: two daughters, Darla (Eric) Rau, Scio, NY, Jody Zawatski-Trummer, Salamanca, NY; two sons, Randy Quattrone, Little Valley, NY, Bruce (Terri) Quattrone, Laurel, MD; a sister, Joanne Carnes, Kill Buck, NY; her former companion, Martin Zawatski, Salmanaca, NY; eight grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her former husband, James R. Quattrone Sr., three sons, James R. Quattrone Jr., Terry M. Quattrone, Ricky L. Quattrone, a sister, Dorothy Nash, four brothers, Ronald, Howard, Duane, and Arthur Storey.

Friends may call at the O’Rourke & O’Rourke Inc. Funeral Home, 25 River Street, Salamanca, NY on Wednesday, September 15, 2021 from 11am – 1pm, at which time funeral services will be held with Deacon Michael Anderson officiating.

Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Salamanca, NY.
