Nancy Pierce

Nancy Pierce, age 82, of Salamanca, NY died Monday evening, February 5, 2018 at Roswell Park Cancer Institute in Buffalo, NY.

Born January 25, 1936 in Salamanca, NY, she was the daughter of the late James and Julia Mahney Moore. She was married to Mr. Kenneth Pierce, who survives. Previously, she was married to Mr. Claude Finch, who predeceased her on December 8, 1990.

Mrs. Pierce was employed by Salamanca City Central School as a Home Economics Teacher retiring in 1990.

She was the first woman inducted into the International Knife Throwers Hall of Fame. She also performed stunts with the Wild West Arts for various movies and television shows.

Surviving besides her husband are: two stepsons, Kenneth Pierce Jr., Brooksville, FL and Roy Allen Pierce, Springhill, FL.

She was predeceased by a sister, Phyllis Kinkead.

A graveside service will be conducted at the Wardvale Cemetery in Johnsonburg, PA at the convenience of the family.
