Beloved Mother, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother

Patricia J. Pierce, 95, of Great Valley, NY passed away peacefully Friday, December 26, 2025 surrounded by her loving family.

Born February 9, 1930 in Jamestown, NY, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Maureen Breneman. She was married September 24, 1955 in Jamestown, NY to George Richard Pierce, who predeceased her.

She was a graduate of Jamestown High School and worked at Art Metal until her marriage. She then dedicated her life to raising her six children and creating a home filled with warmth, kindness, laughter, and love. Her strong faith and unwavering support were the cornerstones of her family’s life.

Patricia was known for her love of family. She was fond of her marigolds that she planted every year in front of her house. She was a member of the senior citizen group, women’s card club, Great Valley Home Bureau, and the Great Valley United Methodist Church. She was known to spend her weekends either with her family or her very best friends playing cards.

Surviving are: five children, Susan Pierce, Cleveland, TN, Douglas Pierce, Sandra (Rodney) Goode, Barbara (Charles) Roblee, Shirley (Paul) Roblee, all of Great Valley, NY; 10 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; a brother, Gary Breneman; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was predeceased by a son, Gregory Pierce, and two sisters, Marilyn and Joyce.

There will be no visitation.

Funeral services will be held at the O’Rourke & O’Rourke Inc Funeral Home, 25 River Street, Salamanca, NY on Tuesday, December 30, 2025 at 11:30 a.m.

Burial will be in Green Cemetery, Great Valley, NY.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to the Great Valley Volunteer Fire Co., PO Box 142, Great Valley, NY 14741, the Ellicottville Great Valley Ambulance Service, or a church of the donor’s choice.
