Sandra Ukolowicz

Sandra Ukolowicz went to be with our Lord on November 29, 2025 at the Bradford Ecumenical Home following a long illness. Sandra was 79 years old.

Born April 6, 1946 in Salamanca, NY, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Helen Ukolowicz.

Sandra graduated from Salamanca High School in 1964. She attended the IBM School in Chicago, IL.

Sandra had been employed with the former Fancher Furniture, St. Bonaventure University, and the Bradford Children’s Home.

She was a member of Our Lady of Peace Parish, Salamanca, NY. She enjoyed spending time with her family and took very good care of her mom. She enjoyed her flowers, watching birds, and taking long walks in her neighborhood. She was an avid Buffalo Bills and Buffalo Sabres fan.

She is survived by her brothers and sister, Thomas (Renee) Ukolowicz, Thousand Oaks, CA, Edward (Debra) Ukolowicz, Tavares, FL, and Helka Freeland, Summit Point WV; multiple nieces and nephews, and her dog, Trooper.

There will be no visitation.

A Funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady of Peace Parish, Salamanca, NY at a later date.

Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Salamanca, NY.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the O’Rourke & O’Rourke Inc. Funeral Home, 25 River Street, Salamanca, NY.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made in Sandra’s name to either the local Animal Humane Society or the American Cancer Society.
