Chelsie Green

Chelsie Green, 16, of Eagle Street, Salamanca, New York died peacefully, Thursday (December 31, 2009) with her family at her side, at the home of her grandparents Burt & Darlene Carpenter, Waite Avenue, Salamanca, New York following a brief illness.

Born January 13, 1993 in Olean, New York she was the daughter of Lori Carpenter of Eagle Street, Salamanca, New York who survives.

Chelsie was a junior at Salamanca Central School and attended BOCES in Ellicottville, New York.

She was a member of DECA at Salamanca High School

Surviving besides her mother are one sister, Bethany Green, Salamanca, New York, several half sisters and brothers, Maternal grandparents, Burt & Darlene Carpenter, Salamanca, New York, paternal grandfather Richard J. Green, Killbuck, New York; maternal great-grandparents, Gertrude Carpenter, Allegany, New York, Gladys Baker, Salamanca, New York, Vernon (Shirley) Baker, Franklinville, New York, a fiancé James Purdy Jr. Napoli, and several nephews.

Friends may call at the O’Rourke & O’Rourke Inc. Funeral Home, 25 River Street, Salamanca, New York on Monday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM. Funeral and committal services will be held in the funeral home on Tuesday at 11:00 AM

Burial will be in Wildwood Cemetery, Salamanca, New York

The family suggest memorial to the Women’s and Children’s Hospital, Buffalo, New York.
