Mr. Louis M. Lyon, age 61, 0f 9 South Main Street, Salamanca, New York formerly of Lakeland, Florida died Tuesday, March 11, 2007 at Olean General Hospital, Olean, New York.

Born on December 16, 1946 in Jersey City, New Jersey he was the son of the late Louis and Mary Ann Wazaney Lyom Sr.

Mr. Lyon was a graduate of Loyola University for both his undergraduate and graduate degrees.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force.

Mr. Lyon was employed as a supervisor at Continental Can Company, Paterson, New Jersey.

Surviving are: a sister, Mary Lou Bogart, Salamanca, New York; a brother, Joseph Lyon, Lakeland, Fla; several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by a sister, Sandra Bankosz.

There will be no visitation.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the O'Rourke & O'Rourke Inc. Funeral Home, 25 River Street, Salamanca, New York.
