May Bell

May Yvonne Blossom Bell, age 92, of 98 Kent Blvd., Salamanca, New York died early Thursday morning, March 22, 2012 at her home following a long illness.

Born on July 17, 1919 in Bradford, Pa. she was the daughter of the late Milo and Lena Englis Raub.

Mrs. Bell had been employed for 10 years as a secretary for the former City Clerk, Bucky McClune and 10 years at the Registration Building at Allegany State Park, Red House, New York.

She was a member of the Free Methodist Church. She attended the Linwood Center, Allegany, NY.

Surviving are: 2 sons, Basil Scott, Cuba, New York, Timothy Ellis, Guatamala; 2 daughters, Sandra (David) Gammello, Urbania, Ohio, Sandy Brown, California; 3 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. She is further survived by her caretaker of 22 years, Gerri (David) Johnson and her extended family, Jennifer Johnson, Michelle Pierce, Bryce Ball, Robert (Kylee) Johnson, Nicholas Ricketts, Alexzandra Ricketts, Brock Johnson, and Knox Johnson.

She was predeceased by a daughter, Toni Ellis, a brother, Melvin Raub, 2 sisters, Irene Melzer and Blanche Meese.

Friends may call at the O’Rourke & O’Rourke Inc. Funeral Home, 25 River Street, Salamanca, New York on Saturday from 10-11 A.M. at which time funeral and committal services will be held with David Gammello, of the Church of God, Urbania, Ohio.

Burial will be in Willowdale Cemetery, Bradford, Pa.
