Cynthia K. Winsor

Cynthia K. Winsor, 71, of Allegany, NY, died Tuesday, June 10, 2025 at Buffalo General Hospital following a long illness.

Born August 20, 1953 in Salamanca, NY, she was the daughter of the late Jack and June Wunsch Winsor.

She was a graduate of Salamanca High School, Class of 1971.

Cynthia had been employed with ACME Electric Inc., Cuba, NY for over 30 years, and had also worked at the St. Bonaventure Mother House in Allegany, NY.

She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, especially attending holiday events. She will be remembered for always helping others. Cindy enjoyed the outdoors, with fond memories of Cuba Lake, and loved animals, especially cats and dogs. She was an avid NY Yankee fan and a member of the American Legion Women’s Auxiliary Post 892.

Surviving are: a sister, Betty Winsor, Friendship, NY; a brother, Fred Winsor, Salamanca, NY; a nephew, Matthew (Joanne McNeill) Landries, Kane, PA.

She was predeceased by a sister, Jeanne Landries.

There will be no visitation.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the convenience of the family and will be announced.

Burial will be in Wildwood Cemetery, Salamanca, NY.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the O’Rourke & O’Rourke Inc. Funeral Home, 25 River Street, Salamanca, NY.
