Suzanne K. Nye, 76, of Salamanca, NY, died Thursday, March 12, 2026, at the Absolut of Salamanca following a long illness.
Born March 15, 1949, in Buffalo, NY, she was the daughter of the late Eugene and Edith Edmunds Reynolds. She was married on December 29, 1973, in West Valley, NY to Earl Nye, who survives.
She was a graduate of West Valley High School, Class of 1967. She also attended Bryant & Stratton College, Buffalo, NY.
Suzanne had been employed as a purchasing agent with the former Fancher Furniture, Salamanca, NY for over ten years, and worked as a medical secretary for Dr. A. Patel in both Little Valley and Salamanca office.
She enjoyed spending time with family, especially her grandchildren, as well as traveling. She enjoyed quilting, and was a member of a quilting club at Riverside Chapel. She was a member of Our Lady of Peace Parish and the Holy Cross Club.
Surviving are: two daughters, Kellie Brinker, Kewaskum, WI, Kerrie (Jarrod) Webb, Cuba, NY; a granddaughter, Kyla McNell, Elma, NY; a grandson, Sean Patrick McNell, Buffalo, NY.
She was predeceased by a sister, Donna Reynolds.
There will be no visitation.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, May 9, 2026 at 10am at Our Lady of Peace Parish, 274 Broad St., Salamanca, NY. A celebration of Life will follow at 12pm at the Great Valley Fire Hall.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the O’Rourke & O’Rourke Inc. Funeral Home, 25 River Street, Salamanca, NY.
